Welcome to Guttenberg!
Guttenberg Brewing Company is open and ready to serve the Guttenberg community! The brewery broke ground in the fall of 2021, opening in the late spring of 2022, just in time for the Mississippi River visitors to arrive who frequent Northeast Iowa each summer.
Owner Kathryn Klaes, married into a long-standing legacy of small business owners, dating back to the original brewery in Guttenberg, starting in 1874, which was owned by her husband's ancestors. Kathryn is excited to join the legacy and bring her passion for brewing back to her Clayton County roots.
The brewery has been built for the community to gather, socialize, and enjoy a good beer together. Bring your golf cart, UTV, boat, bike, car, or feet and join us for a beer or perhaps a wine slushie!
